This crochet flower only has two rows and is quick to make! Make flowers to decorate any projects like scarves, shawls, blankets, bags or attach a flower to a card or a gift tag. You can also sew a pin under the flower and use it as a brooch.

Choose from written instructions, crochet chart or a tutorial video. You can use any yarn. I made mine in bamboo and cotton blend, similar to this yarn: https://amzn.to/2I5OOAW. I’m using a lovely color of an aluminium hook size 3 mm on the video. Each flower is 6 cm (2½ in) wide.

If your flower is in cotton or bamboo yarn, steam iron it before sewing. If it is wool, you can either wet it, shape and let dry or steam iron from a distance.

Thread the starting yarn end into a large needle. Take the starting end of the flower strip (without the picots) and start turning it, holding on to the first row. Turn so that the right side of crochet goes inside the roll. After a couple of rounds, attach it by sewing a few stitches. Continue to roll until the end of the first row.
