Have you ever tried crocheting three rows of mesh on one go? In this tutorial, I’ll be walking you through the process step by step. You get first a step-by-step video and then written instructions with close-up photos.
Where to use crocheted mesh
Crocheted mesh is a versatile stitch that can be used in a wide variety of projects. It is great for tote bags. The open design allows for air to flow freely through the bag, making it perfect for carrying items like beach towels, groceries, or anything else that needs to breathe. Scarves are another great project for crocheted mesh, as the mesh is lightweight and perfect for layering. The same goes for blankets of any size. Mesh also works for curtains.
Mesh can also be used as a base for making rugs or smaller items like coasters or table mats by weaving chunkier yarns, t-shirt yarn or cords into it.
